My most recent series is using a method called "Harness" which is a study of the drying process of liquid and the detailed patterns of sediment left behind.
    Cylindrical objects would be set up (cans, hub caps, paint tops) and colored water would be poured near the edges. Due to surface tension, the water follows around the edge drying in that position, any details in the surface will be mimiced by the drying water
