Every photographer is on a search for beauty. To capture, in some way the message they want to convey; With 35mm lens or digital sensors, photoshop retouching or dark room adventures.
It's all around us and i cant help but try to use the medium to capture the beauty i see in everyday life.

I believe the knowledge that beauty exists in the world is an important thing. Using the medium of photography i attempt to capture scenes of beauty for posterity, it helps to remind myself that it exists. These elements of beauty can be found in almost every corner, and it is through my camera i will grab a hold of them.
The view i have of this world i believe is a unique one and it is through photography that i am able to display this perspective to the rest of the world. I like to display ordinary household and suburban objects in ways that people are not use to seeing them, giving them a new light and opening peoples perspectives on how these items can be seen. It is a study of the ordinary, the forgotten and the overlooked. By using stark angles, close up shots and a short depth of field i transform the everyday into a new landscape, unknown to people that what they see, can be found in their kitchen.
Photography helps me study the world i see around me. Through the lens i record the effects of both nature on the human society and our effects on it through a project called "A love of decay". In this project i document decay and wear & tear on objects found in everyday life, caused by natural causes or human interaction.
