My photography is based on subtle changes that seldom get noticed by most people, Incredible patterns are formed in areas no one bothers to look at. Cracks in pavement and rusty bolts, chipped paint and faded street signs fill my lens
In these photos i try to show the passing of time in an instant, by photographing signs of wear and tear or natural decay.

Decay shows the essence of time passing, shows that nothing is permanent, and shows that the function and overall style of an object- can become completly different from what it originally once was.
Decay tells the stories of what happened, and the events that took place that caused the change in state. More times than less, there are specific stories involved when dealing with an objects metamorphosis. Some times its so obvious you can actually see the trailer truck backing into that sign post with the big dent in it, whilst other times it's more curious what could have caused the marks present. It brings a real humanistic element into the picture, many elements of decay are due to everyday human behavior and show patterns based on the patterns in our own lives. The marks created can be as unique as the lifestyles of the people that caused them.
Decay shows that we are not permanent, the elements of nature that have existed for thousands of years are no different now that humans exist. And in this play of nature vs. "human nature" we get an interesting cross section of views regarding what is worn out, and what is worn in.
