Cover Letter

My name is Mike Felber and I am a designer looking to expand my career in the Graphic Design, Photography, Magazine Layout or other design fields. Possessing a strong working knowledge of design concepts that are both engaging and intriguing to viewers and customers- I feel I would be a solid edition of any design team. I have experience in marketing, branding, event promotions; even with screen printing- and very much enjoy finding new ways of expanding a products reach to any audience. I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts and have been working in the field for 3+ years. I possess strong technical proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver as well as Word, Excel, & Powerpoint.

I am a strong team player who is able to collaborate/delegate tasks and prioritize information. I have experience being a team leader and understand how to take advantage of different skill sets in order to get a project done in a successful manner, while maintaining a high level of quality & professionalism. Customer service, public speaking are strong suits of mine as I possess strong interpersonal skills.

I understand the design concepts of color, font, layout, tone, and how these elements are used in conjunction with each other to communicate a message -whether subtly or focused- to make sure the intended ideas reaches the client with ease. I have a keen eye and sensibility for both corporate presentation and abstract creative thinking, and believe it is in the combination of the two that I can satisfy and exceed client expectations.
